QUINCY — A months-long investigation by the West Central Illinois Task Force led to the arrest of two people on Monday on drugs and weapons charges. The West Central Illinois Task Force, Illinois State Police, Adams County Sheriff’s Department and Quincy Police Department began investigating in early 2024 the sale of heroin in Quincy. Quincy man suffers minor injuries after vehicle hydroplanes, overturns on Interstate 172
QUINCY — A Quincy man suffered minor injuries in a one-car accident on Tuesday morning. Deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 172 south of the Marblehead exit. A 2015 Kia Sol driven by Robert Geisenhagen, 45, of Quincy changed lanes to allow merging traffic to enter the interstate, but the vehicle hydroplaned because of heavy rain.
