Clinton Community College’s New Home
This week, Clinton Community College has a new administrator in charge, following the resignation of John Kowal, who stepped down as president this past week. The board of trustees has named Ken Knelly to lead the school. Knelly began his career at SUNY Plattsburgh in 2014 and has worked in the president’s office since 2017. He is currently the chief of staff at SUNY Plattsburgh. Knelly has been spearheading efforts to move Clinton Community College onto the SUNY Plattsburgh campus by the fall of next year, 2025, and the school says plans have now been approved to base Clinton Community College at Redcay Hall, SUNY Plattsburgh’s former business school building, on the Corner of Beekman & Court Streets across from Hawkins Hall.
New Hartford Unified Basketball Wins Playoff Game With Players of All Abilities
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- On Wednesday, students of all abilities came together to play some basketball, but it’s not all fun and games. The players are there to win. "I think this season has been a very special season for the team,” said Thomas Arcuri, a senior who has played on the New Hartford Unified Basketball team for two years. “I haven't noticed better chemistry out of us any of the other years that I played. And I think we're ready to win the sectional game."

SUNY Poly raises record $210,000 during annual Day of Giving
UTICA — The generosity of SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s community of supporters was on display during this year’s SUNY Poly Foundation Annual Day of Giving, with a record $210,000 raised — shattering last year’s total of $185,000, according to college officials. This total includes the establishment of a new endowed scholarship created in honor of alumna Carmella M. Teti ’80.
