Kingsport Aquatic Center to host Sunset Swim event

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) – The Kingsport Aquatic Center is inviting people to take part in its Sunset Swim at the end of May.

On May 31 from 7:30-9:30 p.m., the aquatic center will host the event at the outdoor lap pool.

The Sunset Swim is limited to 200 people, and pre-registration is encouraged by organizers. The cost is $6 per swimmer, and all participants must be 16 years old or older if they plan to attend without a guardian.

Pre-registration can be completed online by clicking here and selecting Activities and the Aquatic Center.

The Kingsport Aquatic Center’s outdoor water park opens the weekend of May 18-19. It will then stay open daily from May 25 through Aug. 2. After that, the outdoor facilities will only be open on weekends until Sept. 2.
