Chief Rusty Dreher: Chestnut Street fire believed to have been accidental
COSHOCTON − A fire at a building being renovated as rental apartments is believed to have been accidental, according to the Coshocton Fire Department. Chief Rusty Dreher said the blaze was reported at approximately 11:41 a.m. Monday at 555 Chestnut St. Personnel arrived on scene to find a working fire in the second story and attic space of the structure. The building was deemed clear of people and fire suppression started. There were no injuries reported.

COSHOCTON − The Coshocton Fire Department is continuing to investigate a structure fire that occurred shortly before noon Monday at 555 Chestnut St. Chief Rusty Dreher said he expected to release more details later on Tuesday. There is no information yet regarding cause or extent of damage. The exterior appears largely unmarred. No injuries were reported.
