Thursday evening, the Tri-City United softball team traveled to neighboring Le Sueur-Henderson for a Minnesota River Conference doubleheader against the Giants. MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights are one of the hottest softball teams in class 2AA. After not being ranked in the preseason, the team spent the first two weeks of the season sitting in the no. 10 spot, before making the jump all the way to no. 4 this week.

Playing in just their second home game of the season, the St. Peter baseball team welcomed Big South Conference opponent Waseca to Veterans Park Field Tuesday night. MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Mankato East took on New Ulm Thursday night for a high school baseball game. East defeated New Ulm in five innings 17-3. East improves to 8-2 on the season and plays next on Saturday, April 27th against Rochester John Marshall in Rochester.
