Jupiter, FL - A 43-year-old man is facing felony charges after allegedly posting threats against multiple law enforcement agencies on Facebook.

The investigation began when Biloxi, Mississippi police contacted Jupiter authorities regarding a suspicious social media account under the name "Bret Vitullo."

This account, linked to Bret Schaller Hullinger, reportedly contained threats targeting police departments in Jupiter, Boca Raton, Manatee County, and FBI personnel.

The posts, made public in February, included disturbing details such as pictures of Jupiter police vehicles, a knife, and what appeared to be a selfie of Hullinger near the Jupiter police headquarters.

One post threatened violence against officers who wouldn't "post the truth.”

Authorities identified Hullinger through a combination of the profile picture (his actual face) and the names listed on the account ("Schaller Hullinger Dimwitsky O'Shine").

The arrest report describes Hullinger as unemployed and living out of his car.

Considering the severity of the threats, Jupiter police obtained an arrest warrant and apprehended Hullinger on Tuesday.

He faces four counts of writing death threats (intimidation) and four counts of extortion, all considered second-degree felonies.

Hullinger is currently held in Palm Beach County Jail on a $120,000 bond.
