Isolated storm chances today, beautiful tomorrow
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Heartland News) - Happy Saturday! Highs today will remain around average in the mid 80s to low 90s, feeling a few degrees above this number due to the heat index. This is typical for this time of year. There could be a few clouds due to a disturbance moving west of our area, and there is a chance for a couple of showers and storms to clip the region. The SPC has a few southern counties in an outlook Level 1 for the chance for gusty winds and large hail with a couple storms.
