March for Jesus 2024, Downtown Joplin to Landreth Park

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — This Saturday during  the same time frame as Joplin Memorial Run will be the 2024 March for Jesus . Note: both events are separate and have different routes.

• 2024 MARCH FOR JESUS :
• 📅 DATE : Saturday, May 18th, 2024
• 🕘 TIME : Gather at 10-A, March at 11-A
• 📍 Starting Point: 7th & Main St
• 📍 Ending Point: Landreth Park

Organizers remind every one to wear appropriate walking attire, comfortable walking shoes and bring “ banners, shofars, flags, and tambourines! ”

Last year the event drew more than 1,500 people , walking together as a community and worshiping. It was a return of an annual event that hadn’t been held in nearly 30 years.

All those participating in the 2024 March for Jesus meet at 6th and Main where it will start at 11 a.m. when everyone walks together to Landreth Park.

Then once at Landreth Park there will live Worship, Baptisms, and special worship event feat. 🎶 Sean Rodriguez and 🎵 Cliff Preston .

You do not have to sign up in advance of the march. All are encouraged to participate.
