Forbush to hold baseball camp
Forbush will hold baseball camps for future Falcons on May 30 and 31. Elementary camp for grades pre-K through fifth grade will be on May 30 and 31 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $70. Chief Kevin Macemore, Arlington Fire & Rescue, announced the 2024 Certificate of Fire District Rating for the two districts covered by the department during the Jonesville Town Council meeting on May 13. Fire District Ratings are given based on inspections by officials from the North Carolina Department of Insurance Office of State Fire Marshal. Inspections are required as part of the North Carolina Response Ratings System. Officials assessed the department’s staffing levels, equipment, communications capabilities, and water source availability. NORTH WILKESBORO, N.C. – Early race contact and retaliation between Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Kyle Busch led to an all-out brawl post-race in the NASCAR Cup Series garage. On the opening lap of the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Stenhouse squeezed Busch’s No. 8 Lenovo Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 into the outside wall. The retaliation from the Richard Childress Racing driver was swift.
