    Man allegedly speeds away from police on motorcycle while intoxicated

    JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Janesville Police arrested Darmarkus Jarvis, 24, for allegedly driving on a motorcycle at high speeds while intoxicated.

    On May 10th, around 8:45 p.m., police located Jarvis driving at high rates of speed in the Fourth Ward area.

    When the driver saw officials, he left at a high rate of speed on East Court Street. Later, officers located the suspect at Kwik Trip on East Milwaukee Street.

    Police checked Jarvis’s license and found that he was driving on a revoked license. He also had three prior OWI convictions.

    He is being charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated 4th offense, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety and operating a vehicle while having a revoked license.

    Jarvis is being held at the Rock County Jail.
