    Police find evidence of shooting in Janesville neighborhood

    JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Police say no one was hurt after a gunman opened fire late Monday night in Janesville.

    According to the Janesville Police Department, neighbors reported hearing gunshots in the 2200 block of Green Valley Drive around 11:26 p.m.

    Police found several spent shell casings at the scene and recovered bullets that had struck a house.

    Authorities said they are working to identify the suspect and collect further evidence.

    Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Janesville Police Department at 608-755-3100.

    Green Valley Drive runs parallel to Interstate 90, southeast of the U.S. 14 interchange.
