Lewis Co. domestic disturbance leads to arrest
EWING, Mo. — A Ewing man is in the Lewis County Jail and faces fourth-degree assault charges. Deputies with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call on Tuesday, May 14, in Ewing. A female victim reported she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, who had fled. The deputies responded to the residents and contacted the victim.
Louisiana, Mo., man in Marion County Jail after allegedly striking child in vehicle
HANNIBAL, Mo. — A Louisiana, Mo., man is in the Marion County Jail facing child welfare charges. The 10th Judicial District Court of Marion County issued warrants on Thursday, May 16, for Kaleb A. Jackson, 22, charging him with felony endangering the welfare of a child and felony abuse/neglect of a child. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Wednesday.

Quincy man, Chicago woman facing heroin, gun charges after Monday arrest
QUINCY — A months-long investigation by the West Central Illinois Task Force led to the arrest of two people on Monday on drugs and weapons charges. The West Central Illinois Task Force, Illinois State Police, Adams County Sheriff’s Department and Quincy Police Department began investigating in early 2024 the sale of heroin in Quincy. Officers identified Latwaon McCray, 42, of Quincy as a possible target.
