Keyshawn Johnson made interesting comments on Undisputed Tuesday morning that have the sports world talking.

Appearing on FS1, Johnson and the panel discussed Monday night’s epic Game 1 between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers. A lot of the discussion on Tuesday morning revolved around the officiating. Some chose to call it “embarrassing.” Others, like Johnson, decided to go a different route.

Johnson implied that the NBA doesn’t want to see the Pacers play in the Eastern Conference Finals. Instead, the former NFL No. 1 overall pick argued the league wants you to see New York vs. the Boston Celtics.

“They don’t want to see the Pacers play against the Celtics,” Johnson said. “They better see the Celtics and the Knicks play. Because hey? Guess what? Everybody in the city is gonna be watching.”

“Who would you rather see play?” Johnson later added. “I know you don’t want to say it, so I’ll say it for you: Boston and the Knicks. You don’t want to see Indy and the Knicks.”

Basketball conspiracies have lived on for decades. The league hasn’t helped themselves at times between Tim Donaghy and reporters linking free agents to big markets like New York. Still, it’s a bit wild to see an analyst, even one like Keyshawn who didn’t play in the NBA, argue conspiracy over everything.

The sports world reacted to what Johnson had to say.
