Burlington man arrested on DUI, drug charges in Franklin County
GEORGIA — A Burlington man was arrested early Sunday morning on charges including suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of regulated drugs, Vermont State Police said. Officers responded to multiple calls about a suspicious vehicle operated by 40-year-old Oliver Reed on Polly Hubbard Road around 8:26 a.m.

Last week had been a week of many happenings, and now a new week begins. It looks like a nice week coming our way with warmer temps. I received word this week that Ellen Coolidge passed away in April. She lived part-time on West Hill and worked in Canada. The family of Dee Pratt came for a graveside burial on May 18th. Although she passed away in 2022 this was the time scheduled for the family to come and lay her to rest. God bless these families mentioned.
Truck driver accused in deadly Vermont crash faces additional charge
MORETOWN, Vt. (WCAX) - A truck driver who police say caused a head-on crash that killed a Waitsfield woman now faces an additional charge of involuntary manslaughter. The wreck happened last month on Route 100 in Moretown. Vermont State Police say Satnam Singh, 24, of Ontario, was headed south in his tractor-trailer when he crossed the center line and struck a car driven by Rosetta Weber, 39, of Waitsfield. Weber died at the scene.

Jeffersonville man arrested for burglary at local construction company
JEFFERSONVILLE — A Waterville man was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly breaking into a local construction business, state police said. Troopers responded to a burglary report at GW Tatro Construction at approximately 5:56 a.m. where they found evidence of forced entry, with damage to the property and several items missing, including company tee shirts and a winter jacket.
