Colchester, VT- A Colchester man was killed after being hit by multiple vehicles on I-89 in Colchester Monday night. Police say a 38-year-old Colchester man was lying in the right lane near the white fog line when he was hit by two cars and a tractor-trailer. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. This happened just before 9 p.m. on Monday night near Exit 16 on I-89N.

Traffic report: What to know about the roads in Milton this week
According to the Vermont Agency of Transportation, a paving project on Interstate 89 will begin at the bridge over the Lamoille River in Milton and extend to Exit 19 in St. Albans Town in all lanes northbound and southbound. Motorists will encounter a northbound single lane closure from until Thursday from 6 p.m.-7 a.m. The speed limit is reduced in the work zone.
