Houston Texans legend JJ Watt would not take Austin Rivers' NBA-NFL comment sitting down. The former NFL star linebacker heard what the former Minnesota Timberwolves guard implied about NBA players being better at football than NFL players at basketball, and immediately fired a sizzling response.

"You don’t got a job in either right now, go head and try it…," Watt said.

    Ouch.

Rivers is always going to be entitled to have an opinion. It's his job now. But he can't just say something as wild as what he just shared during a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show and expect everyone to nod in approval.

Watt may no longer be punishing opponents on the football field, but he certainly is capable of putting people on the ground, so to speak. Just ask Rivers about that.

In 151 games in the NFL, Watt recorded a total of 114.5 sacks and 449 solo tackles.
