WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — A woman wanted in Texas for child abandonment/endangerment was arrested in Washington County, Tennessee on Sunday.

The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) reported deputies responded to an open field on West Market Street regarding a possible trespasser Sunday morning.

Deputies were informed that the field was privately owned and the owner had not allowed anyone to be there.

Upon arrival, deputies reportedly found a tent in the field and a woman, later identified by the WCSO as Daosha M. Allen, 26 of Houston, Texas.

A mobile fingerprinting device was used to confirm Allen’s identity. Allen was reportedly wanted in Harris County, Texas on failure to appear for child abandonment/endangerment charges.

Allen was charged with criminal impersonation due to providing deputies with false identity information, the WCSO stated.
