HOPE, Ark. ( KTAL/KMSS ) – Hope Collegiate Academy Senior receives Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship.

Axel Yhoss is one of 64 students selected across nineteen counties and the only student representing Hempstead County.

Acel Yhoss, Hope Arkansas Collegiate Academy Senior receives Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship.

Students must earn a super score ACT of 32 or 1410 on the SAT and have a minimum 3.5 GPA to earn this honor.

More Arkansas Legislature News

Each student is granted $10,000 annually to help cover tuition, housing, and book fees.

Yhoss will graduate in May with a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts degree.

He plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he will major in Computer Science with a concentration in Cyber security.
