MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A Georgia man has been handed a federal prison sentence of more than 17 years for trafficking drugs while in an Alabama prison. Justin Brian Melton, 35, was sentenced to 210 months for conspiring to distribute bulk fentanyl and methamphetamine while in behind bars in Alabama in another drug trafficking case, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Alabama said this week.
