FLINT TWP., Mich. (WNEM) - Police are investigating after human remains were found in the woods in Flint Township. The Flint Township Police Department was dispatched to the area of Dutcher Road near Taft Road after human remains were found in the woods early Friday morning, April 26, police said.

FLINT TWP., Mich. (WNEM) - A person has been arrested for allegedly setting fire to the Sunridge Apartments in Flint Township earlier this week. The Flint Township Fire Department responded to a fire in the 500 block of Sunridge Apartments about 12 a.m. on Thursday, April 25. A second fire broke out about 8 a.m. that same day in the 600 block of the apartments, Flint Township Fire Chief Brett Beckley said.

PONTIAC — A former Farmington Public Schools hall monitor and coach accused of seeking nude photographs of a young student has been ordered to stand trial. Judge Todd Fox of the 51st District Court in Waterford bound Andre Brown's case over to the 6th Circuit Court in Pontiac after hearing evidence during a preliminary exam that began Wednesday, April 24.
