‘Blossoms in the Burg’ blooms in Blair County

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — With spring in full bloom, people in Blair County celebrated the season with flowers on Saturday.

Hollidaysburg held its annual ‘Blossoms in the Burg’ festival. Guests shopped for bouquets, listened to live music, enjoyed snacks and drinks from area food trucks and even got to greet some baby goats, sheep and pigs at a petting zoo.

Hollidaysrburg natives Tina and Richard Eaton says it’s one of the many things they love about living downtown.

“We love just hanging out. We enjoy the songs,” the Eatons said. “We’re just having a good time and watch people go by. Hollidaysburg is a nice place to live, we love it.”
