Saturday traffic accidents injures three people
A Festus man was injured in a single-vehicle accident on northbound I-55 north of Imperial Main on Saturday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Ricky Angus of St. Louis was driving a 1998 Nissan Frontier and traveled off the roadway, then overcorrected back onto the road and struck the median. A passenger in the vehicle, 35-year-old Anthony Figueroa of Festus was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries.
