Man arrested for injuring state trooper at Wayne County Courthouse
HONESDALE, WAYNE CO. (WOLF) — A Lake Ariel man is behind bars after police say he injured a state trooper at the Wayne County Courthouse. According to the Wayne County District Attorney's Office, prior to a summary trial for careless and reckless driving on Monday, 32-year-old Shane Murphy, Jr. became "agitated, irate and belligerent" outside of the District Magistrate's office in the courthouse.
