Employee Whole Health hosts annual VA2K Walk and Roll event

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Employee Whole Health announced its annual VA2K.

Now in its 14th year, the VA2K helps Veterans, VA staff, and community members come together for a 2km/1.2-mile walk and roll.

This year’s event is on May 15 and will be held at the following locations:

• VA Harlingen Health Care Center at 2601 Veterans Drive
• VA Harlingen Outpatient Clinic at 2106 Treasure Hills Boulevard
• VA McAllen Outpatient Clinic at 901 East Hackberry Avenue

The events start at 9:30 a.m. at all Veteran clinics. A route has been mapped out for safety.

This national event is hosted yearly to support the Homeless Veterans Program and encourages Veterans and staff to engage in their self-care by Moving the Body , connecting with their Family, Friends and Co-workers by inviting others to participate and modeling Whole Health activities for their Veteran patients.
