Food trucks days are here again. Where you can find them on the South Shore

A true sign of warmer weather.

The South Shore Food Truck Association's annual food truck days gets in full swing this Tuesday with the Hanover location's opening night.

The weekly events are held at South Shore locations in Hanover, Kingston and Weymouth that last through the fall, bringing together local food trucks to fit everyone's taste in one place. Each location hosts entertainment and events for all ages.

Both Kingston and Weymouth have already begun hosting the event for the 2024 season.

Hanover opening food truck lineup and events

Hanover's first weekly food truck event of the season runs from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Forge Pond Park, 253 King St .

Food trucks attending on Tuesday include Ellie’s Treats , Sweetie's Shaved Ice , Lolly Jolly Waffles , Mom on the Go , Thyme Traveling , González , Lobsta Love , KCs Curbside Bistro , Sarcastic Swine and Deag’s Local Diner .

Valarie Barretto performs, fun activities for the kids

South Shore country singer and songwriter Valerie Barretto will perform live on Tuesday.

Children's activities include "Pup Cups" from Marissa’s Mutts and face painting by Dottie Paints . Free animal balloons from Silly Faces with Sarah and free hair tinsel from Kids Party Productions will also be available.

Food Truck Tuesday in Hanover

When: 4 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday

When: 4:30-8 p.m. every Thursday

Where: Hilltop Athletic Association, 65 Pottle St. , Kingson
