CDC study: 1 in 9 children have ADHD
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A study from the Centers for Disease Control shows diagnoses of children with ADHD have surged in our country during the last few years. A CDC study taking data from more than 45,000 parents found that in 2022, 7 million kids had been diagnosed with ADHD, an increase of 1 million from 2016.
Telephone lines removed from road after more than 2 weeks
IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) - In late May, powerful storms brought down telephone lines along a portion of CR-52 in Ironton, Ohio. Neighbors tell WSAZ those lines laid on the road for more than two weeks and it has been a safety concern every time they would have to drive over the lines.

A pleasant area of high pressure is in control, and the air circulates around it in a clockwise fashion. This means initially it drives in cooler air from the north-- not too fun for January but just swell for June. Highs today will again stay in the mid 70s this afternoon, some of the best weather in the whole country. Overnight tonight we’ll drop back through the 60s and 50s under mostly clear skies, good enough to keep the air conditioner off and save on your electric bill. Future days won’t fare so easily.
