Baseball: Steinert Beats Hamilton West, 7-3

HAMILTON, NJ -- Steinert erased an early two-run deficit and went on to record a 7-3 baseball victory over Hamilton West on Tuesday.

Alex Wolak and Gennaro Salzano each had two hits and one run batted in for Steinert (5-3), which scored three runs in the third inning to take a 4-3 lead, then added on with three more runs in the top of the fourth.

Aidan Chulamanis pitched two scoreless innings in relief for the win, and Ethan Zimmerman went 1 2/3 perfect innings. Joey Ditta, who had one hit and scored two runs, made an unassisted double play with the bases loaded and one out.

Andrew Maddalena, Tyrone Crupi and AJ Zuccarello lashed two hits apiece for Hamilton West (5-2).
