LAFAYETTE – The Lafayette Mighty Lions zipped past Sam Houston, 34-14, on Friday night at The Lion’s Den. The first half of the opening quarter went by quickly before Sam Houston got on the scoreboard. Quarterback Brody Anderson rushed into the end zone from a yard out with 4:46 remaining in the period.
