Feeding America to host 2 food distribution events in the UP Wednesday
UPPER PENINSULA, Mich. (WLUC) - Feeding America West Michigan is scheduled to hold food distribution events in Delta and Marquette counties throughout the day on Wednesday. The first mobile food pantry is at the Salvation Army, at 3001 5th Avenue S. in Escanaba. Distribution gets underway at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.

Marquette garage fire under investigation
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The cause of a late-night garage fire in the city of Marquette is under investigation by a Marquette City Fire Investigator. At 11:00 p.m. Sunday, the Marquette City Fire Department was dispatched to the scene at 420 North Front Street for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a detached garage completely up in flames.
