$50,000 winning Powerball ticket sold in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS – It’s not the $214.9 million jackpot, but a Powerball ticket sold in Indiana is worth $50,000.

The Hoosier Lottery said the ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball for the May 6 drawing. The winning numbers were 7-23-24-56-60 with the Powerball of 25.

Someone bought it at Superior Discount Beverage located at 1004 US Highway 31 South in Greenwood. The $50,000 ticket was one of six $50,000 prizes won during Monday’s drawing.

A ticket sold in Florida matched all numbers and the Powerball to claim the $214.9 million jackpot ($100.1 million cash option). The win marked the third time someone has hit the Powerball jackpot this year.

The jackpot resets for Wednesday’s drawing, with an estimated value of $20 million.
