Volunteer Fran Munley places a book on a shelf Monday in preparation for this weekend’s Friends of the St. Mary’s County Library annual spring book sale. The sale will be held noon to 8 p.m. Friday, May 17 (members only, join online or at the event), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18 (open to the public), and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 19 (bargain day), at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds. In addition to books there will be DVDs, music CDs, board games and jigsaw puzzles for sale. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
