Ladue teen earns Congressional Award Gold Medal
Gianna Carmen Francis, a senior at Ladue Horton Watkins High School, graduated this spring with a prestigious national honor: the Congressional Award Gold Medal. “The awards made me push myself to do high-quality and adventurous activities, along with working on my personal journey,” Francis says. “Working toward the gold medal award helped me by improving my organizational skills, becoming a good communicator and trying new things outside of my comfort zone.”
Aviation Summer Academy returns to St. Louis Downtown Airport
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Saint Louis University’s Aviation Summer Academy is returning to the St. Louis Downtown Airport. Twenty-two high school seniors from eight states will participate in Saint Louis University’s Aviation Summer Academy starting June 10. The group will spend the week learning more about the aviation industry and the university’s aviation program through hands-on experiences, networking opportunities and presentations by guest speakers.
Skylee Gangwish Signs to McKendree University to Continue Wrestling

Skylee Gangwish will be heading to Illinois to wrestle for McKendree University. While she is pursuing wrestling it wasn’t always that way as she initially wanted to use it to help in her jiu jitsu.
