2nd teen charged as adult in deadly attempted carjacking of woman in front of her daughter
ST. LOUIS — A 14-year-old boy was charged as an adult after police said he shot and killed a mother in front of her daughter in January of 2023. Brian Wellington was certified as an adult and charged with first-degree murder and multiple other charges in connection with the death of 38-year-old Kay Johnson. He was taken into custody Wednesday and is being held without bond.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Louis man has been charged after fleeing from police, resulting in a chase through St. Louis County. Willshon Warren, 24, of the 8300 block of Orchard Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri, has been charged with resisting arrest by fleeing and creating a substantial risk of injury, resisting arrest for a felony, unlawfully passing a gun and second-degree property damage. Warren is being held on a $150,000, cash-only, no 10 percent bond.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Louis City jury found a St. Louis man guilty Thursday of the 2021 shooting death of a man in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood. A jury found 21-year-old Ledra Craig guilty of first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the killing of 53-year-old Donald Yorker in February 2021. Craig waved jury sentence because first-degree murder carries a sentence of life without parole, prosecutors said.

ST. LOUIS — A woman is facing charges after she allegedly sent videos and text messages to a friend of herself abusing an infant in north St. Louis. A judge filed charges in St. Louis City Circuit Court against Emma Rigdon, 20, on Tuesday for two counts of abuse/neglect of a child, which are both Class D felonies.
