SAN ANGELO, TX— The 4-year-old young boy diagnosed with cancer has beaten the disease. Maverick Davis, who was diagnosed with Burkett Lymphoma Leukemia, rang the bell Wednesday, July 24, and has officially beaten cancer. Maverick’s mother, Katie Davis, has been updating Maverick’s progress on Facebook and posted a video of her young son ringing the bell. SAN ANGELO, Texas — Two dogs saved from euthanasia by becoming fostered by July 23 have been returned to Concho Valley PAWS, the rescue organization said on social media. According to PAWS, Colson, a two-and-a-half year old Shepherd mix, and Skippy, an 11-month-old Lab mix were returned from their foster home because the person who signed on to foster them didn't have permission from the relatives they live with to bring the dogs into the household.
