Farmington Tigers softball head coach Paul Harrington is hoping the state high school league will consider moving the high school state softball tournament from its longtime home in North Mankato to the Twin Cities.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The Mankato West Scarlets and Mankato East Cougars high school baseball teams lived up to the cross-town rivalry hype. The Scarlets came from behind to win 3-2 over the Cougars in an instant classic between the two teams. They’ll face-off again on May 23rd for the rematch.
Walk-off powers West over Hopkins
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The Mankato West Scarlets high school softball team down 4-0 at one point complete the 5-4 comeback win over the Hopkins Royals on a walk-off Wednesday afternoon. Scarlets are back in action next Monday when they travel to Le Sueur-Henderson.
Crusaders track and field earns several top finishes at New Ulm Invite
Thursday evening, the Mankato Loyola/Cleveland track and field team traveled to New Ulm to compete in a meet hosted by the Eagles. The Crusaders posted a handful of first-place finishes throughout the competition that saw the girls finish fourth as a team and the boys finish fifth. Highlights for the girls began in the 200 meter dash where Ava Hahn claimed second with a time of 28.66.
