4 face drug charges after meth, marijuana found in McCracken County
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Four people face drug charges after a drug investigation that began on Sunday night on Bryant Ford Road in McCracken County. Jerry L. Powers, 58, of Paducah faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 2nd or greater offense more than 2 grams methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Man Killed, Another Injured in Friday Crash on U.S. 45 near Harrisburg
HARRISBURG – A Saline County man lost his life in a two-vehicle accident just before 9 Friday morning on southbound U.S. 45 east of Hilltop Road near Harrisburg. According to preliminary information from Illinois State Police, a Ford pickup truck, driven by 42-year-old James D. Long of Eldorado, turned from Liberty Road onto U.S. 45 South. A Dodge Caravan, driven by 55-year-old Robert L. Doggett of Carrier Mills, was going south on U.S. 45 and failed to slow down in time and struck the rear of Long’s truck.
Ayriana Swafford charged after stealing over $100 worth of merchandise from Dillard’s
18-year-old Ayriana Nikole Swafford was caught stealing at Dillard’s on Wilma Rudolph Blvd on November 14th. Swafford was seen on camera concealing items on her person and in a bag she was carrying. The in-store manager, Raymond Hicks, was told about Swafford, and he stopped her before she was able to leave the store. The value of the items stolen was around $131. Swafford was taken into custody and charged with theft of property.
