Franklin woman, 31, killed in Route 27 crash, police say
FRANKLIN (Somerset) – A 31-year-old township woman died after her vehicle crashed into a tree on Route 27 near Reler Lane Thursday morning. The driver was identified as Kristen Drayton, according to Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald and Franklin Township Public Safety Director Quovella M. Maeweather. Bloomingdale Police Department Aid In Delivery of Baby Mother's Day Morning
BLOOMINGDALE, NJ - This morning at approximately 7 AM, Bloomingdale Police Officers, Detective Gomes and Ptl. Dichio, reported on the scene of a female going into labor inside her vehicle. Officers delivered the baby inside the vehicle, allowing the mom-to-be to celebrate Mother's Day as an official mom to a new baby. A vehicle struck the building in the early hours of Friday, May 3, according to Township Administrator June Hercek, resulting in multiple patients being assessed by emergency medical workers.
