Glasgow Family Celebrates New Home
A local family is celebrating a new chapter in their lives after working alongside Glasgow-Barren Habitat for Humanity and the community for a new home. Last Friday, the Bradley family, friends, and members of Habitat for Humanity celebrated at the front doorstep of the new home, which the family assists in building alongside the global nonprofit housing organization. The family moved into their new home on June 1.
Pride Picnic at Beaver Creek Park: Celebrating unity and inclusion in Glasgow
In a show of unprecedented outreach and inclusivity the newly formed Pride Committee will be hosting it’s inaugural Pride Picnic Event on August 3rd at Beaver Creek Park. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. residents are encouraged to come and socialize, all the while showing support for the LGBTQ community. Steven Jones, chairman of the committee, spoke on what he hopes residents take away from the event.

The best chances for seeing any spotty showers or storms will be over western Kentucky. Similar to the past several days, shower and storm activity should come to a gradual end after sunset. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 60s. Areas of fog will be possible overnight.
