UPDATE: Body recovered from creek in Allen County
ADOLPHUS, Ky. (WBKO) – Today, a body was recovered from a truck along Blankenship Road near Adolphus. This morning at 10:15 am, Allen County deputies, Scottsville P.D. Officers, Volunteer Firefighters, and members of the Allen County Rescue Squad responded to the area of the 100 Block of Blankenship Road regarding a vehicle overturned in the water.
Glasgow celebrates 225th Birthday
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. The city of Glasgow is celebrating a huge milestone, being around for 225 years, and they’re inviting everyone to come celebrate. Work underway to widen and improve KY 101 near I-65
SMITHS GROVE, Ky. (WBKO) -The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that work is underway to widen and improve KY 101 near I-65 at Smiths Grove. Construction work includes widening the northbound and southbound I-65 off-ramps at the Exit 38 interchange, installing new traffic signals at both ramps and building additional lanes and a roundabout on KY 101 to serve side streets.
KSP looking for missing inmate from Glasgow
RICHMOND, Ky. (WBKO) - The Kentucky State Police is searching for an inmate who walked away from the Bluegrass Career and Development Center just before 2:30 pm today. Post 7 is looking for 38-year-old, Tyler O. Branstetter, of Glasgow. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark basketball shorts, and white tennis shoes. He also has several tattoos on his face, neck, and arms.
