ACHIEVE Opens New Location in Norwich
ACHIEVE opened its new Norwich location this morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. ACHIEVE took over the former location of the CWS Packaging warehouse at 27 Griffin Street. They broke ground on the $5 million project last spring. The building offers core rooms, a sensory room, adult socialization space, administrative spaces, a nurse's station, culinary space, cafe and a multipurpose events center.
Sidney Man Sentenced to State Prison on Drug Charge
A Sidney man has been sentenced to prison after admitting to possessing and intending to sell meth in Sidney last fall. According to the Delaware County District Attorney, Justin T. Baker was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison and 1 year of post-release supervision. Baker admitted to possessing meth and intending to sell it in Sidney in September 2023. He was previously convicted of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree.
