Former Johnson City middle school principal pleads guilty to luring a child
The former principal of Johnson City Middle School accused of attempting to have sexual contact with a 16-year-old student pleaded guilty to the top count against him. Daniel Erickson, 56, of Greene, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Broome County Court to a single count of luring a child, a Class E felony.
Sidney Robbery Suspect Taken Into Custody Over Weekend
Sidney Police say a suspect has been taken into custody in connection with a robbery that occurred on Friday afternoon. Man Charged After Assault in Sherburne
The Chenango County Sheriff's Office says a man is in custody after an assault last week in the Town of Sherburne. According to the office, a call came in around 12:30 on April 25th for a report of an assault in progress. The caller told 911 that they were watching a person being assaulted with what appeared to be a knife on a security system.
