Crash on I-270 in Columbus closes all southbound lanes
A crash on Interstate 270 South closed all lanes of the road during the Oct. 20 morning commute. As of 8:30 a.m., all southbound lanes of I-270 were closed for a crash that happened just past the I-270 and Interstate 70 interchange in southeast Columbus, according to a live traffic map maintained by the Ohio Department of Transportation. It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured or when the road would reopen. Several other crashes around the city also slowed traffic, including a crash on I-70 East near North Wilson Road and one on the ramp from I-270 South to State Route 161 West.
