The Main Street Bridge between State Street and St. Paul Street is closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. this weekend as crews work to remove logs and other debris from the Genesee River.

I-390 lane closures begin for overnight paving in Monroe County

The New York state Department of Transportation will be running overnight lane reductions along I-390 in Brighton, Gates, Chili and Rochester. To accommodate a paving project, portions of I-390 north will be reduced to one lane. Drivers can expect closures from Exit 16, near State Route 15 and 15A, East Henrietta Road, West Henrietta Road and East River Road, to Exit 19, near State Route 33A and Chili Avenue. Some on and off ramps near the construction site will be closed to traffic. Drivers can follow detours posted near the site. Paving will take place nightly from 6 p.m. until 7 a.m. and is expected to be complete by the end of October. Drivers should anticipate travel delays during this time and are advised to seek alternate routes if necessary. Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
