Morning fog, warmer days ahead

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Areas of fog will be possible the next couple of mornings over parts of central and eastern Kansas as temperatures warm up for the next few days. Patchy areas of fog will be possible late tonight into Sunday morning over parts of south central and southeast Kansas. While not expected to be widespread, some locations could have visibility drop below one mile at times.

Tracking weekend sunshine, warming trend ahead

After a gray end to the work week sunshine has returned to Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas just in time for the weekend. Mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs in the mid 50s Saturday afternoon will give way to a chilly night with mainly clear skies, light winds, and lows in the upper 30s after midnight. Sunshine continues Sunday promoting a mild afternoon with highs in the low to mid 60s and light winds. The warming trend continues early next week as high temperatures rise into the upper 60s with dry skies and no good chance of precipitation for several days in a row.
