Suspect charged in first Flint homicide of 2023 sentenced to prison
FLINT, MI – A Flint man was sentenced to prison time after pleading guilty to the city’s first homicide of 2023. Ryan Lamar Cooper, 32, will serve at least seven years and two months to a maximum of 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter. He has been in jail for more than 1,500 days.
18-year-old facing charges in Mt. Morris Township shooting that left teen dead

Cordell Warwick Allen, 18, was arraigned by Genesee County District Court Judge Jennifer Manley this week on single counts of assault with intent to murder, felony firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
