Coroner hosts National Fentanyl Awareness Day event in Ridgeland
A framed list of dates which would rather be forgotten sat on a table as a solemn reminder of those lives lost to fentanyl in Jasper County over the last three years. The list, along with a candle and balloons represented the toll the drug has taken within the county. The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets football team held a public scrimmage against themselves to show fans a little of what they can expect this upcoming fall on Friday, May 17.
