Meet ‘Moo,’ Mizzou basketball’s new combo guard Kennard Davis Jr.
Kennard Davis Jr. got both his father’s first name and his nickname. Bring him up around the Missouri men’s basketball facility, and nobody will call him Kennard. But not to Kennard Sr. “Even if it landed on like a chicken, he would still say ‘moo, moo,’” Kennard Davis Jr. told the Tribune. “So, my grandma nicknamed him Moo Moo.” And, by birthright … “He's Big Moo,” Davis said, “I’m Little Moo.” Little Moo potentially has an underrated but important job with Mizzou. More: Nine takeaways from first look at Missouri basketball, exhibition at K-State The Tigers are big all over. And Little Moo isn’t so little.
