Hundreds of thousands in damage in JCMO restaurant fire
Fire investigators now say there was $300,000 in damage to the Red Lobster in Jefferson City in a Tuesday morning fire. The fire started in a utility room and spread to the attic. Firefighters had the fire out quickly but there was heavy smoke damage. The restaurant is closed for repairs.

Over 1.5 pounds of meth found during I-70 traffic stop in Callaway County
COLUMBIA − A Columbia woman accused of having over 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine in her vehicle was charged Friday with two felonies and two misdemeanors. Prosecutors charged Lori Williams, 50, with trafficking drugs in the second degree, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to driving within the right lane of the highway.
