Cavaliers upset by Florida in second round of NCAA Tournament
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Despite rallying from a three-goal deficit before the half and keep the deficit to one-goal heading into the fourth quarter, Virginia was unable to complete the rally Sunday falling to Florida 13-8. "It was a stalemate for a little bit," Virginia women's lacrosse coach Sonia LaMonica said after the game. "At the end of the day, we had some opportunities and we just didn't finish some shots that you've got to finish in these circumstances and that might have shifted that momentum."

Virginia (32-18) received their second NCAA Tournament bid in program history, earning a spot in the Knoxville Regional as the 2 seed.
