Elgin man pleads guilty to murdering wife in front of young children
ELGIN, Ill. - A suburban man pleaded guilty to murdering his wife and leaving her body with their two young children in 2021 in Elgin. Victor Ayllon, 38, entered a guilty plea for first-degree murder Thursday in Kane County court. Ayllon allegedly strangled his wife to death on July 12, 2021, at their home in the 300 block of Heine Avenue.

Driver killed in crash on I-65 near Hobart identified
HOBART, Ind. - Update (Wednesday, April 24):. A driver who was killed in a crash on I-65 on Tuesday has been identified by the Lake County Coroner's Office. Inkwon Seol, 44, of Long Grove, was pronounced deceased at St. Mary Medical Center. His death was the result of multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash, according to officials.
